Evidence of attainment:
7.1 Meet professional ethics and responsibilities
- I have taken the responsibility to meet codes of conduct through my relationships with students, parents, community and colleagues. I have demonstrated personal conduct by being a positive role model at school and acting with discretion and maintaining confidentiality. My professionalism is shown through my commitment to professional learning and awareness of my legal responsibilities.
- I follow the teaching profession code of ethics to all students, parents and colleagues. The values that underpin our profession is integrity, respect and responsibility. I demonstrate these by maintaining positive relationships, treating everyone respectfully and developing my teaching practice.
- As a teacher at a Catholic school, it is my responsibility to uphold the Catholic tradition. I demonstrate this by going to whole school and class masses, teaching religious education and attending out of school activities.
